ARNEIRON BLOCKS

Eighteen design blocks for any block theme

ArneIron Blocks is a free WordPress plugin: hero, feature cards, FAQ, price table, carousel, posts grid and thirteen more. Every block is rendered on the server from its saved settings, so your pages keep their markup when the plugin updates — and every block works in any theme, not only ours.

Downloads are not open yet
ArneIron Blocks is finished and it is free, but there is no download button on this page yet. ArneIron distributes the plugin itself, from this site, and the download will appear here when it opens. There is no WordPress.org listing and we are not promising one.

The blocks

Everything on this page below the title — the banner above, the cards below, the questions at the bottom — is rendered by ArneIron Blocks on this site. What you are looking at is the plugin, not a picture of it.

EIGHTEEN BLOCKS

What is in the plugin

Hero

Eyebrow, headline, subheading and up to two buttons. The block at the top of this page.

Call-to-action banner

A closing band with an eyebrow, a heading, a line of body text and one button.

Feature cards

A grid of two, three or four cards with a title and body. This grid.

How it works

Numbered steps with a connector line between them, for explaining a process once.

FAQ

An accessible disclosure list built on native details elements, with one item open by default if you want.

Alert

Info, success, warning and error notices. The notice above is one.

Price table

Card boxes, long boxes or a feature comparison table, with a Token Packages style for prepaid tiers.

Stat strip

A strip of metric tiles: label, value and an optional delta with a direction arrow — never colour alone.

Testimonial

A quotation with attribution, and a Quote Card style.

Gallery, Carousel and Slide

An image grid and a Swiper-driven carousel built from Slide blocks. Swiper is served from your own site.

Posts

Your posts as a grid or as a carousel, with a ready-made block pattern for the carousel layout.

WooCommerce product showcase

Products in the ArneIron card design. It needs WooCommerce and renders nothing for visitors without it.

Mega-menu item

A rich panel inside the core Navigation block.

Synced-pattern embed

Drops a synced pattern into a layout without leaving the block you are in.

Sidebar widget

A titled panel for sidebars and narrow columns.

Client showcase

A row of client or partner marks.

Sixteen cards, eighteen blocks: Gallery, Carousel and Slide are three separate blocks described together above. Beside them the plugin ships one block pattern (a blog posts carousel) and five shortcodes that sites built on earlier ArneIron theme versions use in their headers. Each shortcode renders nothing when the plugin it needs — Polylang, WooCommerce or TeraWallet — is not active.

How you use it

  1. Install the plugin

Upload the zip from Plugins, Add New, Upload Plugin, and activate it. There is no settings page to configure afterwards.

  2. Open the inserter

The blocks are in the block editor’s inserter under the ArneIron category.

  3. Set them from the sidebar

Every block is edited through normal block settings: text, columns, colours, borders, radius. Nothing is written in HTML.

  4. Keep your content if you remove it

Deactivating the plugin leaves the block comments in your content. Activate it again and the pages render exactly as before. The plugin stores no options, so there is nothing to clean up.

What it does not do

  • No settings page, no dashboard notice, no credit link on your site.
  • No requests to external services — including the carousel library, which is served from your own site.
  • Nothing stored in your database.
  • One single addition to the admin: an “Upgrade to Pro” link in the plugin’s own row on the Plugins screen, pointing at ArneIron Pro. It is hidden when Pro is already active and for users who cannot install themes.

Questions about ArneIron Blocks

Does it need the ArneIron theme?

No. The blocks work in any block or classic theme, and they follow the active theme’s palette and fonts when the ArneIron design tokens are absent. ArneIron Lite and ArneIron Pro style them through their own tokens, which is where they look their best.

How do I get it, and how will it update?

ArneIron distributes the plugin itself from this site. It carries an Update URI pointing at ArneIron, so once downloads open, updates arrive through WordPress’s normal Dashboard > Updates screen from us. The download button is not on this page yet; write to us in the meantime.

Is it on WordPress.org?

No, and there is nothing pending there. Distribution is self-hosted from ArneIron. If that ever changes this page will say so.

Is it free, and under what licence?

Free, under the GNU General Public License v2 or later — the same licence as ArneIron Lite and ArneIron Pro.

What happens to my pages if I deactivate it?

They keep the block comments in their content. While the plugin is inactive those blocks do not render; activate it again and they render as before.

Is it translatable?

Yes. All strings use the arneiron-blocks text domain, and every stylesheet ships with its right-to-left counterpart.

What does it need?

WordPress 6.5 or newer and PHP 8.1 or newer. It is tested up to WordPress 7.1, and tested standalone under Twenty Twenty-Five, Twenty Twenty-Four and Twenty Twenty-One as well as ArneIron Lite.

ARNEIRON PRO

Have the blocks placed for you

ArneIron Pro bundles these blocks and adds the connector, so you can describe a page in plain English and an agent builds it out of them.
